Elan’s Drug Technologies Business has solved for clients the delivery challenges of more than 30 marketed products, which have subsequently been launched in 40 countries worldwide.
Clients
At Elan we are happy to work with the large, speciality and small pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Our current client list includes such companies as Merck, Wyeth, and Abbott as well as smaller companies such as MAP Pharmaceuticals Inc and EntreMed Inc. At present 10 out of the top 12 pharmaceutical companies are clients of ours. The cohabitation of development and manufacturing capabilities on the same sites is also a benefit to many companies as it allows for streamlined scale-up and transfer to commercial scale manufacturing activities.
